Managed Services

MIK has been an outsourcing partner to many companies, providing Managed Services since 1998. As a Managed Services provider, MIK’s offering enables customers to outsource certain corporate function management or operational work/tasks. Such services could support customer corporate strategy for a better and improved operation effectiveness and efficiency at predefined cost  while still meeting its deliverables service level.

MIK provides a flexible business model for engaging into a Managed Services contract. A typical contract would include a defined SLA (Service Level Agreement) for a set of to-be-provided services scope. The SLA will be agreed between MIK as a Managed Services Provider and Customer. Customer usually pays a fixed monthly fee within a defined period (e.g. for 5 years).

Services that have been provided include the following, all in Indonesia:

  • Multi-years Managed Services operation providing multimedia eLearning application in the form of Sofware as a Services (SaaS), with content and certification capability. The SaaS provides online certification alternative to thousands of insurance agents to obtain their licenses to practice, in addition to paper-based exam. The service is provided for a community (association) in Insurance Industry, that has 40+ member companies and collectively are managing more than 150,000 agents.
  • Three-years Managed Services operation in Learning Management. The service includes Data Center and Call Center setup with its related hardware and software, System Integration/Professional Services for Learning Management System (LMS) and Training-based Budgeting Application, Professional Services for eLearning Multimedia Content Development as well as managing the daily operation of Data Center and Call Center for three-years. It has been serving more than 20,000 users.
  • Project Management for hundreds of Bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) deployment. Provided services includes assisting the bank in ATM vendor selection, managing the Proof Of Concept (POC) stage, assisting the bank in vendor selection process for procurement of related ATM accessories, and managing ATM vendor for ATM distribution and deployment.
  • Resource outsourcing for a number of Multi National Companies (MNC) in Indonesia. Resources provided are in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Customer Support, Technical Officer, Treasury, Marketing Operation, Sales, and Marketing Administrator.
  • Operation Technical Support for one of banking e-channels through Electronic Draft Capture (EDC) devices, including merchant acquisition services for more than 3-years.
